Faster property drawers, and notifications worth reading

Rich notification cards

Notifications now carry the listing photo, a portal badge, and a plain-language title, so you can tell a Property24 lead from a task reminder without opening anything.

Property drawers open faster

We repaired the deed cache, trimmed the startup splash, and cut duplicate fetches. Opening a property and pulling its deed is noticeably quicker on every device.

WhatsApp lead alerts open WhatsApp

Tapping the button on a WhatsApp lead alert now opens the WhatsApp app on your phone instead of bouncing you into a browser tab.

Notifications page cleanup

Every notification shows when it arrived, a repeat of the same message re-stamps the row it already has instead of adding another, and a Mark all as read link sits above the list beside the unread count.

Appointment reminders actually fire

The reminder and booking notification jobs were repaired, so appointment reminders and new booking alerts now reach the agent they belong to.

Blu stays inside your workspace

The in-app assistant reads only your own workspace data. Its lookups are now scoped to the person asking, on every tool it uses.

Tip

If your notification list has piled up, hit Mark all as read above the list and let the new cards do the triage. The badge on each row tells you where it came from: Property24, Private Property, WhatsApp or your website.

Listing photos keep their quality, end to end

Photos are no longer degraded on upload

A JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 3000 pixels on both edges now uploads byte for byte, with no re-encode in the browser. Larger frames and HEIC files are converted once, scaled inside 3000 pixels without cropping.

Sharper photos on Property24

Listing photos were being shrunk to 1024x768 at quality 75 before syndication. They now go across at 1920 pixels on the long edge at quality 85, which is the file Property24 serves unresized in its gallery lightbox.

FICA portal for your contacts

Send a contact a secure link, they sign in with a WhatsApp one-time PIN and upload their documents from their phone. The proofs land on their contact record.

Syncs that refuse to do damage

The Property24 re-sync now refuses any sync that would delete photos or delist a live advert, and it re-surfaces the real error instead of failing quietly.

Scheme units sort like numbers

Sectional scheme units now sort 2, 10, 11 instead of 10, 11, 2. Small thing, much easier to find a door number in a big scheme.

Tip

If a listing went to Property24 before this change, re-syncing it pushes the 1920 pixel photos across. Worth doing on your best stock.

Mobile app just updated, on the App Store and Google Play

Deed data on every property

Ownership history, bond details, and sectional-scheme info are now on the property drawer, with erf boundary overlays in the Cape Town metro, no more switching to Deeds Office for the basics.

Portal status on the listing drawer

Open a listing and the Portals divider shows a row for Property24 and one for Private Property, each reading Syncing, Synced, Not synced yet or View error. The status sits on the drawer, not on the listings list.

Tip

To change where a listing goes out, open it and press Manage on the Portals divider. Manage portals has a Publish to tick box for Property24 and one for Private Property, and a Logs tab showing what the portal sent back.
