Agents in North West get the same screens and the same fields as agents anywhere else in South Africa. What changes is the stock you work, not the software.
The button shows on To Let listings on your agency website and opens the form in a modal carrying your agency colour. There is no separate apply link to send: the applicant reaches it from the listing page.
A Step 1 of 4 counter runs along the top and Lease Period is pre-filled with 12 months. Ticking self-employed hides the employer question, and ticking that they own where they live now hides the landlord questions.
Submitting files the contact, a lead reading Rental application for that property, and the application itself at stage New, related to both the contact and the listing. If the phone or email already matches a contact in your workspace, that record is reused rather than a second one created.
The drawer is headed Rental Application and runs Overview, Applicant, Employment, Rental History, Banking, Household, Payment and Activity. The applicant fills in part of that. Banking, deposit and lease fees, vehicles, next of kin and judgements are yours to capture as you go.
Personal Details, Employment Details, Current Living Situation, then Household and Move-in Details. First name, last name, email, phone and occupation are the only answers the applicant has to give before Submit Application will fire.
Applications sits in your sidebar on a desktop screen, and under More on a phone. On a desktop screen it draws as a column table of Stage, Applicant, Email, Phone, Property, Move-in Date, Gross Salary and Created. Below 800 pixels the same records draw as cards instead of columns. Either way it filters by stage and by listing and exports to a spreadsheet.
On a saved application, the AI Overview gives a short summary, an affordability band of comfortable, tight, stretched or unknown with the rent as a percentage of gross, what is in their favour, what is worth checking, and which important fields are still blank. It is metered like the rest of Blu, so once the month's allowance is used the card shows an amber message instead of a summary.
Yes. Rental Applications has no North West version and no provincial setting to configure. An agency working Bult, Van der Hoff Park, Geelhoutpark, and beyond gets the same screens, the same fields and the same defaults as an agency anywhere else in South Africa. The province is the context you bring to it: median North West price is R920k, and the trend there is mining-cycle dependent.
Not as an application. Nothing in the application path sends a notification. What reaches you is the lead it creates: the agents on that listing get an in-app notification reading New lead followed by the address, and, where their notification preferences allow it, a matching email. The link in that email opens the enquiry, not the application. A push goes out on top of that only to an agent who has the mobile app installed. Two things follow from all of this. A listing with no agent on it notifies nobody, and a second application from the same person on the same listing on the same day counts as a repeat lead, so it notifies nobody either while still saving as its own application. A repeat the next day is treated as a fresh lead and does notify. Applications is where the detail is.
You reply to the applicant yourself and record the outcome on the application. Know one rough edge first: the status box on the Overview tab is free text, so what you type there does not move the record in the Stage column or the Stage filter, both of which still read the stage it was created at. The stage set is New, Under Review, Approved, Rejected and Withdrawn.
Yes. Each submission is its own application record against the listing, so a popular rental holds as many as apply. Filter Applications by that listing to see them together, or use Export to spreadsheet to get Stage, Applicant, Email, Phone, Property, Move-in Date, Gross Salary and the date on one row each.
