Listing Approval Workflow

Nothing goes live until the right person signs it off.

With the workspace setting Listings require approval turned on, any agent who is not a workspace admin can prepare a listing but not release it. Their publish is stamped Awaiting approval in orange, every admin is notified, and the listing only reaches the portals once one of them accepts.

    Turn the rule on

    Listings require approval is a workspace setting and it is off unless someone turns it on, so a new agency publishes with no approval step at all.

    Agent publishes

    An agent who is not a workspace admin finishes the listing and publishes. The listing is stamped Awaiting approval in orange instead of going live.

    Admin is notified

    Every workspace admin gets a Listing publishing request notification naming the agent and the address. The listing itself shows a Pending approval marker.

    Review and release

    The admin opens the listing, taps Review, reads the changed groups on the review screen, then taps Accept & publish to let it syndicate.

The review screen is headed with the agent's name, then lists the groups that changed: Address, Features, Media, Description, Price, Mandate Type, Expiry and Agent.

About Listing Approval Workflow.

Who approves listings?

Workspace admins. Anyone on the workspace admin list publishes straight through and can release other people's listings. Everyone else is held.

What happens after approval?

Accept & publish clears the hold, and the queued payload syndicates to whichever portals that listing is published on.

Can I send a listing back with notes?

Not today. The other button on the review screen is Cancel, which closes the review and leaves the listing pending, with no message back to the agent.
